I decided to make my own seat that can be removed from the boat and used as a chair when in camp, a double duty seat you might say. Less things to pack and take. When paddling, a good seat is worth its weight in gold. Trying out the seat I found a hidden benefit to it…. Drop the back rest down on the seat and gain ½ inch height.  Yes, it does make a difference when paddling.
