Wooden Boat
Plans
With that said, I ordered your plans and began. I had a blast through the
whole build, and it gave me something to do during the northwestern winter
rains. All in all, I spent about $600, more than I had anticipated, but I
also spent a little extra here and there to ensure a quality build. I
decided on the 12ft length, due to the ease of moving around. I used
marine grade plywood throughout, fiberglassed the whole bottom and outside
of the boat, used a spray truck bed liner for
the inside for safer footing and toughness, and then seats and
motor/battery, and anchor. The outside is sprayed with high end
Krylon spray-paint with a snap on hand squeeze
trigger (only about 3 bucks at your local hardware store, next to the
spray-paint. |
